The Marlborough Sounds are a maze of drowned valleys, bays and ridges at the top of the South Island, and the first part of the island many people see from the ferry.
The club's trips include the Queen Charlotte Track, the Nydia Track, trips around Pelorus Sound and Kenepuru, and sea-kayak weekends. Most are easy or easy-medium, and a good share of the reports are from the 1990s.
