AUGUST 2-4 Jack McConchie led a vinchcompe Crossing, while Dave Forbes. did the Southern. Unfortunately there was no snow, and attendances were low, but all enjoyed themselves. Chris Barker's medium trip. down Dennan Spur into Sheridan Creek ran, with his usualistream of jokes to liven things up. AUGUST 9-11 Easy trip to Blue Range, and a medium over Blue Range to. Cow Creek ran successfully. with good attendance, but the F.E. was cancelled. AUGUST 16-18 A group participated in the Club Ski Instruction at Ruapehu. Haven't heard of any broken legs or similar, so guess the weather was bad.. AUGUST 23-25 The Egmont A. I.C. kept to i-'s usual form, weather rot giving us a break during the. whole weekend, although most ventured out for a while. AUGUST 30-1SEPT. All club trips cancellec. Recently trips have not been supported very well, and a few have been cancelled. WHERE IS ALL YOUR CLUB SPIRIT?
