Sinclair Head: 22 Frampers including 12 children saw seals, old gun emplacemencs a creek that disappears, glorious views of the South Island and a porfort spring day. The trip finished at 79 Farnham Street with eating, drinking and talking evenly distributed. A good value Say trip! Dave Capper. t Robert: In spite of problems outside our control such as ferries not running due to bad weather, strikes etc, the odd trips have been managing to get away and in the main have experienced good weather and plenty of snow. Surprisingly the same faces have appeared on most of the trips with a struggle to fill the last couple of paces. Alt'ough the weekenr. is slightly more expensive than uapehu 65.00 approx ) the amo int of skiing is only limited by how Sost you can ski down the slope, If you haven't visited Mt. Rob: ret make a note to give it a gr next year. It is well worth it, ..2
Ruapehu: For the first time in many years a weekend trip was snowed in at Ruapehu. A few hardy souls managed to get home very late Sunday night but the majority arrived very early Tuesday morning after Runciman Motors had sent a spare bus to the Chateau. Obviously we had more trips running but I haven't had the time to chase up reports 9o next month how about a few lines from trip leaders. Noel Thomas.
