Greg Aimer, Barry Ihle, Hugh O'Donnell and Dan Wilson returned to Hopeless (or was it returned hopeless.. .) on the 14 to 17 of October:: with high: hopes of: climbing the; aforementioned beast. s

Inclement weather (another phrase meaning rain) and bad snow conditions thwarted two summit attempts and the foursome retired defeated. Ironically (as per usual), the weather was great on' the walk back to "civilisation".
