From the President: 29-31 August

29-31 August Have you noticed that Kelvin Hoy is out tramping regularly again. Last. week he led me over Reeves, down to Cone Flat, on an ascent of Cone, and back to Walls. It was a weekend of repartee. Dave met me. with threats of a reply to my letter in the last newsletter. Rozlyn wanted to know why her name (spelt wrongly) was in the letter and not Dave's.

We broke the world record for fire lighting. I think everyone had a go. After 1x hours Kelvin and I gave up and cooked Spaghetti Bolognese on primuses. William, Rozlyn and Carol. took over. After a further 1% hours they had a beaut fire going. My offer to serve dinner in the pit was Ceclined. We met the FE trip on Cone. They left us eating lunch on Cone Saddle.
